Thank you to all the schools which entered into the spirit of Tick Bite Prevention Week. The standard of poster competition entries was very high and it was difficult to choose an overall winner. The understanding about tick awareness the children demonstrated, and the attention to detail in their posters, has been impressive.
The winning poster, and a selection of entries which received special commendation, are available to download and print below. Each of the commended entries wins a certificate and art pack.
Evan John MacDonald, from Kilchulmen Primary School in Inverness-shire, beat more than 220 entries with his 'Do the Tick Check' poster. Evan's poster was voted the overall winner for its graphic design, attention to detail and attractive colours. Evan has won £250 worth of gardening vouchers towards a wildlife garden for his school, and a certificate and art pack for himself. Congratulations Evan!
